We know what we want from our clothes. Louche is designed in London with the aim of creating pieces that are practical, comfortable and genuinely flattering, using the best fabrics we can afford. Our design team has decades of experience creating womenswear, and that experience informs everything we do.

We design clothes that become old favourites – the pieces you reach for again and again, for almost any occasion.

Fit is central to everything we do. Each Louche style is meticulously fitted on a size 12 model, ensuring comfort as well as a flattering silhouette. If there is any hesitation about the fit or ease of wear, the design is simply rejected.

Since Louche first began we have continued working with many of the same suppliers. Our factories are personally inspected and held to the same high standards of care for their workforce as for the garments they produce.

We have always believed that a happy workforce produces a better product. With decades of experience in this industry, that belief has consistently proved true.

Design That Lasts

At Louche we are working steadily towards becoming fully sustainable and bringing our factories with us on that journey. Whilst it will not happen overnight, we are making real progress.

Where possible we produce smaller runs, creating distinctive pieces while reducing unnecessary waste.

Our aim is to create what we like to think of as the vintage finds of the future – clothes that are designed to be worn, loved and passed on rather than thrown away.

And yes – around 95% of our dresses have pockets.
